The Myers Park Trinity 10-11-year-old All-Star team has won District 3 and is headed to the NC State Tournament. Games begin this Saturday, July 13th in Forest City, NC. The bracket is posted here. Myers Park plays at 2:00 on Saturday against the host team from District 1, Forest City Little League. If they win, they will play the champion from District 1, Chase Little League, on Sunday at 2:00. State tournaments use a double-elimination format.
The tournament will be hosted by Forest City Little League at Dunbar Park. It is located at 286 Learning Parkway, Forest City, NC 28043, which is less than an hour and a half drive from MPTLL. So consider a road trip to Forest City on Saturday to cheer on the 11's. They need our support. And stay tuned to Twitter for updated tournament info.
